This VIP A340 was selected from the Lufthansa Airlines fleet for it’s reliability and then converted to a VVIP for the Chancellors aircraft. The “C” and “D” checks are currently due. The aircraft is currently at a USA MRO for regular maintenance and engine runs until it is input for the inspections. Once those inspections are completed the owner or buyer can select a low utilization or high utilization inspection program depending on the planned usage. It is worthy to note that once these inspections are completed it will be two years before another major inspection event is due. The landing gear is not due until October 2030 so there are several more years before landing gear overhauls are a concern.
